Robert Rosing

Robert Rosing has extensive homeowners’ association and condominium law experience representing associations, owners, and developers. Robert has assisted associations in drafting new rules and regulations, making amendments to CC&Rs, collections, enforcement and litigation, giving general counsel to boards and helping board members understand relevant laws including the reserve law and the new insurance laws. On the homeowner side, Robert has successfully represented homeowners in disputes against HOAs on a variety of matters including obtaining reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act, helping owners rent their unit despite an HOA's attempt to enforce rental restrictions, and aiding an owner in overcoming the imposition of thousands of dollars in fines for alleged violations. No association matter is too large or too small for Robert.

Robert’s efforts and expertise have not gone unnoticed. He was elected Chairperson of the Utah State Bar Association’s Community Association Law Section in September 2016. In 2014, 2015, and 2016 Robert was named a Rising Star by Mountain States Super Lawyers.

His experience includes complex business disputes, real property, and construction litigation. He excels at finding creative solutions to complex problems and helping clients understand the possible outcomes and potential costs of litigation, all with a focus on obtaining the best possible outcome. Additionally, as a prior transactional lawyer working in the area of commercial real estate, Robert has experience handling commercial and residential real estate deals. This background has created an invaluable foundation for his current practice.

Robert graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2007, cum laude. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review. Since graduating, Robert practiced law at Heller Ehrman in Washington State, at Cohen & Grigsby, P.C. in Florida, at Morris Sperry in Midvale, and now at Wrona Dubois in Park City. Robert brings extensive experience and understanding to the Community Association law practice.

When Robert is not working, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and traveling.

We hired Robert Rosing to represent us in an HOA dispute over who was on the board of the association and to remove two board members. This was the best decision we ever made. We had a previous lawyer who would not answer our phone messages, emails, or many times not take/return our phone calls. Robert was completely different. When we met Robert, by the time we finished telling him our situation, he had a good plan. He called us several times in the next few days and ALWAYS returned phone calls and emails.
